Juice, Juice Baby!

The drive was long and I guess, it probably felt longer since it was right before the holidays, but once I arrived at my destination, within seconds, all my doubts vanished. I’ve attended a few other blogger events and each had its own personality and vibe but this one was set in the most exquisite and lush setting. I had arrived at The Juice Beauty Farm in the heart of wine country in Healdsburg, California! For those of you living under a rock (no offense, but seriously, I’ll be shocked if you don’t know this name) Juice Beauty is a clinically validated, authentically organic, plant-based skincare and makeup company. They are carried at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Whole Foods, Ulta, Blue Mercury, Anthropologie and select dermatologist offices.

Karen Behnke, our generous hostess that afternoon, founded the company in 2005 with the aim of producing organic, natural products without compromising the luxurious aspect of the formulations. I was seated right next to Karen and it was such a joy to hear her talk about the evolution of her brand and see her eyes light up as she talked about her beloved company.

Anyhow, I walked into an ultra modern and truly minimalist state-of-the-art house that led to a gorgeous outdoor patio overlooking a lush green landscape and acres and acres of The Juice Beauty sustainable farm. Okay, now we need to talk about the ultimately chic dining table which had the most elegant white and green flowers running down the centre of the table, by Alice’s Table (who later also conducted an adorable floral arrangement mini-workshop and that’s where I dropped my camera in a bucket of water). I know, dumb as hell but if you read my last blog post you’ll recall what was going on with me that day!

Anyway, the table setting had white place cards with each blogger’s name handwritten on them. Along with beautifully packaged Juice Beauty skincare and beauty products like their Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray and Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon among other goodies. Obviously, the delicious food comprised of at least 6 different types of salads, grilled vegetables, scrumptious chicken breast platters, tons of fresh cut fruits and the yummiest desserts. All organic, of course! The wines were generously provided by Dry Creek Vineyard and given that their vineyard is very close to the farm we also were fortunate enough to get a wine tasting 101 by one of their seasoned sommeliers. Unfortunately, I took only teeny sips of all the divine Reds that he poured since I had a long drive home.

On hand, was also a brow specialist who gave me some fabulous tips and yet another gift, the Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Brow Envy Gel. I mean, are these folks generous or what!!!!! Post lunch, Karen gave us a tour of the expansive and magnificent grounds, where I stopped, oh only a million times, to take pics. How couldn’t I? I was surrounded by the most splendid landscape and the glorious golden light was just PUUUURFECT!! Besides, have you met me?? I live to get photographed;) And of course, for my kids and hubby and family too but that’s a given:)

Thank you Juice Beauty for this very special day, for all that you continue to do for the organic skincare and beauty industry AND for the all gifts that I brought home with me. I’ve tagged and created links for all the products I’ve mentioned here in case you’d like to check them out personally! IMHO, you should definitely try them – I’m so in love with the Stem Cellular Peel Spray and below I’ve added some more that I use regularly!! Plus my newest obsession, their new PREBIOTIX Hydrating Gel Moisturizer and PREBIOTIX Antioxidant Beauty Boost Supplement that’s up on my Instagram as a giveaway too!
