Ann's Asymmetry

Moving on to one of my new beloved fall pieces:) How can one not fall in love with this mohair and alpaca chunky-knit asymmetrical sweater? It’s literally one surprise after another rolled (or spun in this case) into one gorgeous piece. So, it has a hem that’s sloped – of course, I have to work out endlessly on my abs before I wear it – but if I wear it with high waisted jeans then that problem is taken care of within seconds….hello chocolate croissants! The turtleneck is JUST right – not too snug and not too loose – hence, perfect for San Francisco weather. The sleeves are longer than usual and one is wider than the other!! This woolen confection (oh! nice word, given that we shot this at Miette) truly pairs well with everything. I’ve worn mine here with a pair of jeans but the look can be spruced up with a skirt or shorts or a skort too! And, definitely over a dress, given how much I love layering these days!
