The jet lag has returned with a vengeance!! I've been back from Karachi less than a week and my sleep has decided to abandon me... COMPLETELY-ISH! The first night home I woke up at 1.30 AM, tried VERY hard to fall back asleep, failed miserably and at 3 AM walked downstairs, made a cup of tea and gobbled 3 toasts with my Ami's home-made strawberry jam that I brought back with me. The second night was a wee bit better since I woke up at 2ish - thank you, 12 hour time difference, so kind of you to have granted me those 30 extra minutes - and had two more of those toasts with that yummmmy jam. The internal, undesired alarm went off at 3 AM the following night:( Sounds like it was getting better, right? Not so much, because every single night ever since I've woken up at or around 3.30AM & have not been able to fall asleep again. I have managed to catch up on The RHOBH ( Lisa V. I love pink too but seriously a little easy on the color), The Bachelor (fav. mindless show ever and Arie is semi-cute), started Season 3 of The Outlander (is it me or was Jamie posing a bit too much towards the end of Season 2 before all the fighting broke out - that arm on knee pose as he looks into the horizon?) and cried a LOT at Claire & Jamie's  (spoiler alert) separation - I mean A LOTTTTT and have taken online sales shopping to a new level. And that brings me to these oh-I'm-so-casual-as-I-stroll-while-I-continue-to-pose pics that Ricci took a few weeks before I left for my trip.

These leather shorts, I kid you not, are about 8 years old. I had just turned 40 and was probably having a mini age related crisis so I bought these leather shorts online in an attempt to hold on to my youth and proceeded to wear them quite often. Then I forgot all about them and re-discovered them last summer as I was packing for our trip to Spain.

The booties are also a few years old - also, bought online - and I'm absolutely in love with them. I have worn them so many times that I may need to get them reheeled for the second time!!

Enter my blue cozy, beautiful, soft, I-love-you-so-much hooded chunky knit. Not bought online but the extensive research was indeed conducted online before I got this sweater as a birthday present from me to me in October 2017). "I AM OBSESSED" is an understatement. It's perfect for the current weather in SF as long as we don't get hit by that horrifying bomb cyclone and it fits perfectly over a thin t-shirt and under my coat depending on my mood. And, it shall ALWAYS remain in my closet not only because it's all those lovely things I've ascribed to it already but also because once I buy something I REALLY love and feel it's a forever piece I wear it to death or in politer terms get a lot of mileage out of it. Hence, the leather shorts, the leopard booties and this sweater will remain in circulation for a very, very long time!!
