Net-A-Porter & Moi!
Given that I didn’t post enough pics from the cocktails & dinner I co-hosted with Net-A-Porter (yes, I’m kidding & I know my friends and I bombarded your feed with pics from that event:) and since it looked sooo pretty AND all my girls & Jeff looked glam beyond words, here’s more for your eyes only .... and mine. Oh, and since GlamSquad did my make-up that evening and I got a million compliments because of them I want to spread the love. You can now book a make-up, hair and/or mani-pedi appt. on your phone via their app too and, my lovelies, here's my personal referral code so you can get $25 off your first booking - SOBIAGLAM25:)) Back to my dinner ... so, I’ve been shopping with NAP for a while & needless to say I love everything about this fashion behemoth. And, since my home is now completely done it was time to open the doors for my favorite people with my absolute favorite NAP team!
We started with insaaaaanely delicious hors d’ oeuvres by Merchant Roots & Chef Ryan just killed it - (I've added the menu below). I ate their food a few months ago at a luncheon at Hero Shop and immediately asked Emily Holt (Owner of Hero Shop - yes, another place you must visit in SF to choose from the most divinely curated selection of fashion & home goods) to provide me with their information.
The flowers of course, were by Danielle B. over at Ken Fulk. We coordinated the flowers at my home (for cocktails) and for dinner (at Spruce) so they were in gorgeous shades of pink & fuchsia, which was my only requirement when I spoke to Danielle about the evening. I truly believe that no one in the world can do flowers better than Danielle (I know I’m the queen of exaggeration but I know you’d say the same thing if you saw her work in person) Will Roque (my daaaarling), the Project Director at Ken Fulk, who oversaw our home decor project, calls her “The Flower Whisperer” and I couldn’t have come up with a better term myself.
Some of my dear friends missed the evening due to their summer travel plans or other commitments and we all wished they were there too. We had a total of 15 people and post cocktails we drove over (thanks to Lisa, Nikki & Sara) to Spruce. The restaurant is a mere 4 blocks from my home but none of us were willing to compromise our heels ... & our feet too, of course:)
The moment we walked into the small room at the back in Spruce we were blown away by the BNW Net-A-Porter gift bags coupled with pink flowers in silver vases across the center of the table. Yup, pic follows!!!
The food, the company, the conversation, the decor and most importantly the energy was upbeat and positive and I hope my friends had as spectacular an evening as I did. Thank you to all for coming and a huge thank you to Lauren Anderson, Jeff Luhmann & Melissa at NAP for this very special and beautiful evening ♥️ Oh and more pics follow✨ And, I wore my favorite red jumpsuit from NAP and you'll find below some other fun jumpsuit options. I couldn't add this one as it's a few years old!
Menu for the cocktails part of the evening by Merchant Roots:
HACKLEBACK CAVIAR - crispy potato latkes, lemon crème fraiche
GOUGERES - rosemary, pink peppercorn, and gruyere
BABY LETTUCE CUP - grilled corn and skirt steak with chimmichurri
Thank you as always for visiting my blog and for taking out the time to read my posts🙏🏽
Lots and lots of love from the stirrer;) Hugs, Sobia
Thank you to my Lulu and my friends for all the pics - (some are by me) !
